Capital Advisory · delivering the Capital Readiness & Access practice

Capital is in the room. Readiness is the gate.

Plain terms: we get your financials, your story, and your deal structured so capital can say yes — then we introduce you to the capital sources that fit. MAG is an advisory and intermediary. We connect enterprises to capital; we do not provide it..

The file a lender opens first

Data room index

Illustrative index. The diagnostic tells you which rows are green — before a lender does.

The process, in three steps.

Readiness diagnostic

We examine the business the way capital will: financial hygiene, revenue quality, structure, and the story. You get a plain-language readout of what a lender or investor will question — before they question it.

Automation that holds

Reconciled statements. A standing data room. A use-of-funds tied to a return. A capital narrative that survives scrutiny. The deal mapped to the right category — bank debt, SBA, private credit, or equity — so no meeting is spent on the wrong money. [SBA — U.S. Small Business Administration.]

The match

We introduce the prepared deal to capital relationships that fit your sector, stage, and structure, and we stay in the conversation through terms. [Term sheet — the document that lays out price and terms before final contracts are signed.]

What you walk away with.

Readiness readout — the gaps, in plain language, prioritized

Capital narrative — the story that connects the ask to a return

Introductions — to fit-matched capital relationships

Standing data room — financials, contracts, KPIs, continuously current [KPI — Key Performance Indicator: the few numbers that show whether the business is working.]

Source map — which capital category fits, and why

Deal support — through diligence and terms

Housing & Community Development

Entitled land. Unfundable file.

The problem pattern

A senior-living sponsor with site control — and a capital file no lender could underwrite as written.

The MAG move

Rebuilt the package, sequenced the partner map, matched the deal to mission-aligned capital.

What changed

The conversation moved from a polite no to actual terms.

Questions operators ask.

Do you invest in the deals you advise?

No. MAG is a capital advisory and intermediary. We prepare enterprises for capital conversations and introduce them to lenders and capital sources whose mandates fit. We do not provide capital, pool funds, or sell securities.

It depends on the state of the file. The diagnostic tells you exactly how far you are from bank-ready and what closing that gap requires. Operators who keep a standing data room shorten every future raise.

Usually the opposite. 66% of applicants receive less than requested or are denied, and the cause is rarely the underlying business. A denial tells us where the file failed. That is a starting point, not a verdict.

The Discovery Session is free and fifteen minutes. Engagement scope and fees are set after the diagnostic, when we both know what the work actually is. We do not sell a retainer before we can name the problem.
